Knapford is a large town and railway station on the west coast of the Island of Sodor. It serves as the junction for Thomas' Branch Line and the western terminus on the Main Line. It has appeared in every single season except the fifth.
In Knapford station, the platforms 1 and 2/3 are connected by an underground passage, and there is the bookstall on the terminal tracks of tracks 3 and 4. At one point, the bookstall was temporarily replaced by the toy shop.
