I decided to make a 3D pedestal for this classical sculpture group by projecting the texture onto the pedestal. This necessitated shrinking the pedestal and then elongating it (since the base is now gone). At the bottom of the 3D pedestal is an area you can use to grab onto the pedestal so you can properly place it in your model. You have the choice as to what parts you use what parts you discard. A handsome set of sculptures for your model. The 2D man is there for scale purposes.
