Rising 745 feet in the sky, the RSA Battle House Tower is currently the tallest building in Alabama, as well as the Gulf Coast outside of Houston, Texas. Completed in 2007, the construction of this skyscraper didn't go without much hardship. During construction, the building went through five hurricanes, including Katrina, which delayed the overall completion of the building. However, on May 11, 2007, the building opened up for business with much enthusiasm in the city of Mobile. The tower contains 25 office floors, 3 lobby floors, and 4 floors for a hotel. The most attractive feature of this building is undoubtedly the beautiful glass and steel crown and spire which sits ontop of the building.
