Etemenanki was a ziggurat dedicated to the god Marduk in the city of Babylon. It was the inspiration of the biblical "Tower of Babel" (Babel, "Bab-illi", =Babylon).
The throne in the upper chamber isn't an historic reconstitution ; it's only for the esthetic of this model.
