PDW's (Personal Defence Weapons) are an emerging class of firearm, built for the purpose of being used as secondary weapon, or serving as a backup for vehicle drivers. The R-3A comes with a bandalier sling (not shown) for which it is designed so that it may be drawn quickly and with ease. The gun would be carried over the front of the torso area on the sling.
