Early in 2007, a former bicycle factory in Grand Rapids, MI was destroyed by a devastating fire that left nothing of the historic building but crumbling ruins in its wake. This is my Idea of what I would do to rebuild the site. Intrgrating the ruins into a new structure that reflects the look of the former building, this mix use development would be great for economy living quarters and small specially retail and cafes catering to college students attending Grand Valley State's downtown campus just a couple of blocks away. #apartments #development #distructivism #fire #historic #lofts #mix_use #modern #old #residentual #urban_development
