Finnish M39 barrels are 26" long and found in two types. The earlier type has been observed on 1941 dated Sako and VKT rifles. It is similar to the M28/30 pattern, but the secondary shank is shorter and smaller in diameter. The rear sight base has a bushing in the muzzle end to fit the barrel.
