This model represents the Safety Helmet mounted version of the Peltor PowerCom Plus Wireless acoustic earmuff style headset, a battery operated high noise 2-way radio communications headset featuring an ergonomic 3 key touch pad design, noise canceling boom microphone, secondary radio interface ability, remote finger PTT accessory and ambient surround listening ability with 22 channels in the 462 MHz frequency band with 38 CTCSS privacy sub channels. In addition, this upgraded model of Peltor Hearing Protection has two pick-up microphones located outside of both cups designed to provide enhanced electronic ambient surround listening, and is equipped with a rechargable battery. It has a range of up to 2 mile and is ideal for high noise environments, especially ground crew airport operations.
