The Munificent-class Star Frigate was a key element to CIS forces during the clone wars. Also known as a Banking Clan Frigate, this ship typically sported two heavy turbolasers mounted on the bow which could do tremendous damage, and several ion batteries to use in ship-to-ship engagements. Four of the Munificent Frigates were enough to overpower a Venator-class Star Destroyer, and were a match for most starfighters. This ship was used heavily in the Battle of Coruscant, where many were destroyed.
