The M16 is fed using box magazines. Earliest magazines were made from aluminum and held 20 rounds. Circa 1970 the new, 30 rounds magazines were introduced into service and these magazines are still in service now. An extremely wide variety of magazines available on the commercial marked, starting from the "US post-ban" 5 and 10 round magazines, and up to 40-rounds box, 90-rounds helical, 100-rounds dual drums (Beta-C) and 120-rounds single drums. Ok so even if u might not have read the whole text... this gun has a very great history behind it and i made it because i though that maybe there is too many M4' s and not so many M16' s. Changed the whole grip alittle and front of barrel is changed to a m14 looking one.
Some thing might be customized but i just want it to look cool so here u go... my first M16.
Some information to Lucifersteapot: I am still working on the viper rifle and i will be doing so for a while as the model is hard to model. Though right now im sketching on it with a pen and a sketchpaper so we'll see.
