In Atlantis, the Zero Point Module Hub (in the Central Tower) is where all three ZPM's would be placed, ZPM's were created to power the Atlantis City in sets of threes, there for, three slots. The immense power these modules contain can be harnessed to power the city for thousands of years. This model, I believe is as best as I could make it be, It could probably be a lot better. I used the Stargate website (Tech Journal) as a reference in this model a lot.
