This is a two cylinder equatorial platform with floating south mount (wheel assembly). The bearings ride on roller blade wheels. The north mount (wheel assembly) is attached to the ground board but the south mount "floats" horizontally on the ground board. The wheel assemblies are made from 2 inch x 1/8 inch thick aluminum angle.
