I kinda liked my previous model of modern a-frame house (check it out), but it was stretching the concept of usable space (because it was relatively small), so I decided to make it a little bigger. With a-frames you usually want to go vertical, to really make good use of those lofts and sloped walls. Furthermore, you can take advantage of the slopes with pre-built cabinets and make the rooms a little more square dimensioned, as in normal houses.
I don't care much for 'pretty' textures and a photo-realistic look; instead, I try to construct a physically realistic, true-proportioned living space and arrange the rooms as optimal as possible -- I try to imagine & design houses that could actually be built. A great looking, energy-saving, nature and environment-friendly dwelling for a family of four. It's built of wood and natural materials, with lots of sunlight and optimized living space.
