Constructed in 1964 as the "Senior Center" Coles Tower was, for many years, the tallest building in Maine.
Connected to the tower are new and expanded dining facilities in Frederick G. P. Thorne Hall, which includes Wentworth Servery and Daggett Lounge. Bowdoin's Food was Ranked #1 in the Country according to the rankings by the Princeton Review.
