The Purcellville Train Station was acquired by the Purcellville Preservation Association (PPA) in June 1993 through monies donated by local business and civic groups as well as individuals from across the county and from the local metropolitan area.
The PPA is restoring the station and thereby providing needed services to the users of the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) hike/bike trail and members of the local community. #historic #historic_site #Purcellville #train #train_station #Virginia #WOD_hikebike_trail
