This house was actually built in Carlswald Estate in Midrand , Johannesburg. The concept design was done on Sketchup. The house took 3 months to build and was completed around 2010.
The house design is in a Cape Vernacular style, this style is popular in Cape Town and surrounding areas. It is a modern take on the basic elements of South African colonial architecture.
