The Qwest Building in Denver is an icon of the skyline. This building was built in 1983. It is 53 floors tall and 709 feet, making it the 2nd tallest building in Denver. This pre-cast concrete building takes the shape of two intersecting octagons. As the building rises, it steps back from the street forming a series of terraces. The most recognizable feature is the brilliant blue glowing signs on the top with the Qwest logo which shine throughout the city at night. The building is currently is home to Qwest Communications.
