Openbuilds style wheels in routed 90 degree V grooves on 1" phenolic resin rails (lab countertop material). 3/4" Purebond plywood case assembled with tee nuts, glue, and (not in CAD file) pocket hole screws. 1/2" ACME 2-start (one end turned down to 8mm for motor coupler) with a Delrin anti-backlash nut (see source below) for Z. Generic MK8 extruder. GT2 belts, pulleys, and idlers.
Build is rigid enough to sit on the X rail.
