This design in ShopNotes, vol. 21, issue 124. This looked perfect. It is smallish, but very functional. It exploits a design I have noticed over and over again, a matrix of dog holes over the entire top (covered in plastic laminate). This also includes the slots shown above. All in all a VERY effective and functional design.
I chose to add one design feature not in the ShopNotes design. I added a deadman type contraption on one end. Pics of the version I built can be found at the link below. #woodworking_workbench
