Boe Chapel is at the heart of the campus. Beautiful stained glass windows and a large organ surround the chapel with light and sound. Flags hanging in the sanctuary represent the many countries of origin of St. Olaf international students.
Daily chapel services are offered every weekday morning. These half-hour services usually consist of several hymns, and a short message—either from the college pastor, a senior student, a guest speaker, a professor or a former student. In addition to daily chapel, Pastors Bruce Benson and Jennifer Koening lead an ELCA service on Sunday mornings. For those wishing to attend services at other churches in town, bus transportation is available. Below the sanctuary is the Religion Department.
