4.75 inch dual vestibule push plates in a single surface mount box from BEA for knowing act automatic doors which comply with ANSI 156.19-2007 standard. This particular plate is BEA's dual vestibule plate which is placed between doors in a vestibule to allow activation in either direction. This is used in conjunction with Low Energy automatic door operators from companies such as Ingersoll-Rand, Stanley, BESAM, Dorma and others. Per the A156.19-2007 standard, Appendix A-5 "Knowing Act Switches", plate should (1) Be located within 1 ft to 5 ft of the door, but never more than twelve feet; (2) Remain accessible from the swing side when the door is opened; (3) Not be located in a position where the user would be in the path of the moving door; (4) Be mounted so the user is in full sight of the door when activating the switch (push plate); (5) Have an installation height of a minimum of 34 in.
