M20 Armored Utility Car

M20 Armored Utility Car

Brian G.
This model is of an M20 variant of the M8 Greyhound, as suggested by Gaius R. The most noticeable difference between the two is the lack of a turret. The turret of the M8 had a small caliber main gun, but with its removal on the M20, the armored car was minimally defended against tanks. Due to this the crews were outfitted with a bazooka. The antiaircraft ring mount also has an M2 .50 cal. machinegun for more lightly armored enemies. Technically this model would be of a command car as it has a radio, but it could easily be removed. Around 3,680 M20’s were produced by Ford between 1943 and 1944. Credit for the very well made M2 goes to MorBius with the rest of the model made by myself. Please give credit if used and if you would like me to put markings on it, just leave a comment and I’ll try to get back to you. #1943_1944_WWII #2 #AFV #APC #Armored_Car #Armored_Utility_Car #Brian_G #Ford #Greyhound #II #M #M10 #M20 #Tank #Utility #War #World #World_War_Two
