Half-round Window Frame

Half-round Window Frame

Glenn S.
I got an old stained glass window from Baltimore that is half-round with a rectangular section below. In other words it's not a perfect half-circle but a half-circle PLUS an additional portion along the bottom. The frame was too rough to use so I made a new one using the original as a model. The only reason I really needed to make this model was to figure out how large a piece of lumber I would need to make the half-round sections. That's included in the model. I ran the Clean Up extension against the model and ASFIK the model is clean but if you are using a CNC machine I would check the components carefully first. I don't know how others would construct a frame like this but this model is historically accurate with the frame I have. I'm guessing it's early 20th century.
