This is a model of Tacoma City Light's Cushman Generating Station powerhouse #2 in Potlatch. This facility went online on December 31, 1930 and supplies power to residents and businesses in the city of Tacoma. Hydroelectric power is sourced from Lake Cushman, nearly 10 miles away. The three large standpipes are large enough to fit a full-size school bus through them!
