The World Trade Center - Beurs is situated on the Coolsingel and the Beursplein in Rotterdam. The lowrise of the current Beurs-complex was designed by architect J.F. Staal and was realised between 1936 and 1940. In 1984 construction started on the new highrise office tower on top of the current lowrise. The green elipsshaped tower, designed by Rob van Erk, was realised in 1987.
