The New York State Capitol is located in Albany, New York. The building was completed in the year1899 and cost 25 million dollars (translated to about half a billion dollars today) making it the most expensive government building of its time. Architects Thomas Fuller (1867-75), Leopold Eidlitz (1875-83), Henry Hobson Richardson (1875-83), and Isaac G. Perry (1883-99) designed the building in a hybrid of Renaissance and Romanesque styles. In 1971 the Secretary of the Interior designated the Capitol as a National Historic Landmark. #Albany #Capitol #Henry_Hobson_Richardson #House_of_Representatives #Isaac_G_Perry #Leopold_Eidlitz #National_Historic_Landmark #New_York #New_York_Legislature #New_York_State #New_York_State_Capitol #NY #Renaissance #Romanesque #Senate #Thomas_Fuller
