The Florafelt Pro System is a high quality, patented architectural green wall solution that uses Florafelt Grow Strips woven into a stainless steel 304 wire grid. It’s the most robust vertical gardening system around, and can handle extreme conditions.
Design notes:
- Stack on a 36" W x 24" H grid
- Overlap the lower 6" into the unit below
- Width can be reduced on site by 6" segments
- Struts should be bolted to a secure surface
- Units are delivered in parts and assembled on site
- Plants are wrapped in felt wraps then inserted into the openings
- Irrigation drip line is used only at the top, then water wicks down to each plant
- Water will drip from the bottom of the system so a gutter should be provided
- Locate in an area with adequate lighting and access to a water supply or drain
- A recirculating system can be designed with tank, pump, timer, and tubing where only power is available
