Rotating composte screen made of plywood and pine wood. The rotation drum is based on 4 bike rims (MTB 26"x1.75). The assembly is rolling on four rubber wheels alligned with two of the bike rims (from kids play car). The screen is powered by an electric motor from an old washing machine. The belt is running from the motor to the first bike rim. The center rim is added for stability of the construction.
It's easy to move the screen around due to the wheels and handles. The drum is put at an angle to allow stones and other bigger items to travel through the drum (into a bin). Sifted soil/compost goes on the ground below the screen. I put it on a MFD board as this makes it easy to showel up after sifting.
