It is a founding Star Alliance member and is the third-largest airline in the world by fleet size and route network. Main hubs are Chicago, Denver, Guam, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, and Washington. United merged with Continental Airlines in 2010 and operates 136 Boeing 737-900ER's.
