a neat gun design I came up with. it is esentialy a basic coil gun, with 2 large electromagnets, which pull the bullet allong the barel, instead of having a powder charge. To power the electromagnets, there are 4 huge capacitors, and a large underslung battery pack. scince there is no cartridge to worry about, the gun has few moving parts, and only carries 1 bullet at a time. The gun has a smooth bore, and the bullet is stabalised by four fins. To help accuracy, the gun has an enormous barrel. scince guns of this type are easily capable of propelling bullets well past 3000 fps, it would make quite a deadly sniper rifle. this is so cool, i might just make one in real life....
