Mekong Delta Blues—Vietnam floating shelters. Materials are readily available in the area because of the best garbage sorting system in the world -- plastic bottles bundled up in wire cages float the raft; bamboo tied together forms the structure; thrown-away tarp/roof shelters the sleeping shed from the tropical heat; beer cases hold a vegetable garden; an old tank collects rain water; a net tied below water level keeps the fish farm. Shelters cluster together creating common walkways and floating plazas.
