Believed to be the Cutlass of Capt. John Alexander RN. Commander of the First Voyage of HMS Indigo to Bengal. It is likely that the presentation box and cabinet were also presented with the sword to Alexander by the Royal Navy, possible upon his commission to take command of the Bengal voyage. C1749, now in the possession of the Uggledon family.
