The billiards is a complex game of very ancient origins, which is nowadays correct to define sports discipline in all respects by organizing international tournaments and world championships for a single specialty.
The game is played in a rectangular field surrounded by banks and whose surface is covered with a characteristic soft cloth. It is played using spherical bowls called balls or bats.
The marbles are moved by the use of a rod called a staple, or they are cast with their hands (in the variant called flasks).
