Samouraï Pizza Cats (キャッ党忍伝てやんでえ, Kyattō Ninden Teyandē?, the legend of the Ninja cat group) is a Japanese anime in 54 episodes (only 52 have been broadcast in France) of about twenty minutes each.
In France, the series was broadcast from September 1991 in Youpi! School is over on La Cinq.
Rebroadcast in 1994 on M6 in the show M6 Kid. The series has been available on DVD since February 16, 2005 from Déclic Images.
In 2018, the franchise was reissued by Kazé with a DVD box set where the entire series is present. For the French version, there are new dialogues, more faithful to the original work and the original version is also included.
