This is a complete model of a small sized neighbourhood mosque designed by myself. Mosque: Design stylistically incorporates neo-classical and modern architecture with arabesque and turkic inspiration for the interior. It can accomodate up to 350 worshippers with ease. The main prayer hall is on the lower level & a gallery space is on the upper level for female worshippers. The semi-basement incorporates separate wudu areas for men & women, toilets, living apartments & office for the imam, a small kitchen & a nursery room. Calligraphy from the Koran is used to decorate interior and exterior highlights (some placeholders are still empty however, and If you have some good verse suggestions, I can incorporate them here). Model: File size is big because of interior and exterior detailing. Good graphics capability is required for best viewing. You can walk around to explore or otherwise follow scene animation. Architectural Design: This is my original design (some components from 3Dwarehouse in credits), and I would not mind if you use it for actual mosque construction anywhere or adapt from it (but only for Islamic religious construction). I would like to be notified however, and if you would like to actually build such a mosque somewhere, please let me know.
