I'VE UPDATED THIS MODEL: Please checkout my "Modular Hydroponics Tower", it's more complete. The blue/green things are pool noodles that have been cut up. The vinyl posts are capable of being removed at any time. My wife made mention of adding a drip sprinkler emitter to the end of the drip line in the top: I like the idea, there might not be enough pressure though after traveling 7 feet vertically. The pump is about 400-600 gph, using 5/8 in. black poly tubing. To seed the plants, I will be using sand wetting, with my own nutrient mix, and maybe Ocean Solution ~ 90 trace minerals. Now on to dutch buckets, and potato towers. update: 6/18/18
- CommentsDamonious O.For water distribution, please cut a 2 liter bottle in half, drill a 3/8 hole near the cut side, then place several - upright inside each tube. Because of the roots creating an umbrella effect, per Kntryhart and others on YouTube, I'm using the 2 liter bottles for water distro.6/18/2018Damonious O.still in progress...6/19/2018Damonious O.I've decided to run drip lines through out. I'll use a swivel garden hose connector to attach the top. Make sure there is enough slack in the 1/4" so the drip can reach up and screw to the main line up top. I'll upload another render depicting this. ;)6/21/2018
