This is a flash grenade, also called "flash bang", "NFDDs" and "stun grenade". this one is the M84, used by the police, LAPD S.W.A.T. and the army forces. It's made to incapacitate all the peoples in the room for approximately five seconds, without causing serious injury. It produces a blinding (1 million Candela) flash and deafening (170-180 dB SPL) blast. The filler consists of about 4.5 grams of a pyrotechnic metal-oxidant mix of magnesium and ammonium perchlorate.
Fuse: M201A1 with a delay time of 1.0 to 2.3 seconds.
