An antique canopy bed based on that in the state bedroom at Harewood House. I got as detailed as I dared but it is still much simpler. As it is the polys will likely be off the charts here just because of the realistic bed curtains. Making the curtains was no small slice of insanity. The bed was made by Thomas Chippendale for a commission in 1773. Textures are a green damask (similar to the one used on the original) and gold leaf. This bed has a queen sized mattress. It is just over 12' High by 5' 10" Wide by 7' 6" Long. A real showstopper, as state beds were intended to be in the 18th century.
