I added a stemwall to my previous dome, to make it 3 ft taller, not only giving height in the center, but along the walls, they don't curve in right away anymore, so I get more useful planting space. The stem wall also has frames several windows for ventilation, and the apex of the dome is openable too. Extra cost? About $60 in materials and a couple more hours work.
