This model is of the Colonial Mk 2 Viper seen in the newerish series of Battle Star Galactica. Its purpose is to serve mostly as a short range outter atmospheric air to air combat fighter. It also has the capability to fly inside an atmosphere and is used a a bomber on a few occasions. It is a single pilot craft and was only used for display in the Battle Star Galactica universe. They were reinstated however after the Cylon EMP attacks which could disable the electronics of the newer model Vipers which the Colonies had been using. To fight back the members resorted to using the Mk 2 Vipers which still serve their purpose perfectly when piloted by the right person. The model itself is one of my best if I do say so myself and I hope you like it. A rating and/or comment would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks.
