I built this using reclaimed lumber from a 150 year old barn, some repurposed bed slats from a twin bed, and a set of legs I found at an architectural salvage place for $5, and used some scrap plywood I had lying around for the shelves. Pocket screw construction.
I designed it to fit my TV and my stereo speakers (Yamaha NS-A636s), along with my receiver and Xbox. I would accommodate most standard receivers and a lot of different speakers, or you could use the speaker areas for books, records, or other storage.
