The German (Shepard) greenhouse dimensions are below. Door side along the bottom is 59’6 ⅝” Height is 27’10 5/16” Diagonal is 40’8 13/16” Same opposite side. Side Along the bottom 64’7 1/16” Height 40’8 13/16” Same opposite side. The two dogs you see on the outside of the greenhouse are there as protectors. The owner Fran maintains the greenhouse and Chili sprouts. I decided to paint the triangle sides of the greenhouse black because it attracts the sun. The windows on both rectangular sides give the Chili sprouts all the sun they need to grow and feed the family. The Chili sprouts also are sold to grocery stores around town for profit. The temperature inside the Greenhouse is 80 degrees because that’s the temperature Chilli sprouts grow best in. The peppers need 16 hours of light a day, that is the reasoning for the huge windows on the rectangular sides. Night time gives the sprouts the rest they need away from the light. They are watered everyday and kept damp. Over watering will kill the plants. The sprouts are fertilized in fish and kelp because that’s how they grow best! I decided on a triangular shaped house because it allows adequate sunlight for the peppers to grow. The 3 sinks allow all the water needed to grow the plants, and a drain is provided. I chose a cement floor because it is easy to clean and maintain. The cement doors are good at keeping the heat in, in all seasons. #chili #german #triangle #greenhouse
