The Mitsubishi Regional Jet is the first aircraft type designed and produced in Japan in half a century. There are two variants in the twin-engine regional jet family: the MRJ90 and the smaller MRJ70, both powered by Pratt and Whitney PW1000G series engines. MRJs are assembled at Nagoya Air Field {Komaki Airport}. Airlines that have ordered the MRJs include ANA All Nippon Airways, J-Air [of JAL Japan Airlines], Eastern Airlines, SkyWest, Trans States, and Air Mandalay.
