The Nissan Frontier was introduced in 1997 for the 1998 model year as a replacement for the aging 1986.5–1997 Nissan Hardbody Truck. The Frontier Bravado is basically a D22 Frontier with the rear bed of the Nissan Hardbody (D21) and a lower suspension.
